An iOS app for keeping your own tradition's year — when a day falls where you are, why it is kept, and how. Read and heard in your own language.
Every day is dated where you are. Kalava computes the panchang for your own place rather than printing a calendar made for somewhere else. Tithi, nakshatra, the sun and the moon, and the windows a household actually plans around.
A day is told, not summarised. The katha in full, the method step by step at the day's own hours, the samagri to set out, and a guided sitting with a voice that waits for your hands.
Your tradition, not a generic one. North Indian, Maharashtrian, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and more — each given the days it keeps, in the script it reads.
Kalava is in development. If you would like to hear when it arrives, write to hello@kalava.app.
